When you arrive for your first visit, please be prepared to complete all insurance and health information forms that will allow us to begin your prosthodontic treatment. We will ask you to fill out several forms that will get you acquainted with our office.
Your initial exam will last approximately one hour. During that time, we will review your dental and medical history, examine your mouth for decay, periodontal problems, jaw discomfort and any signs of cancer, and discuss your primary concerns. We may also take x-rays and digital photographs, and if necessary, impressions for study models to aid in planning your treatment.
If a diagnosis is evident at this appointment, we will discuss treatment options and methods with you as well as give you a general estimate of the cost. We encourage you to ask questions, and we will be glad to address any concerns you may have.
